Joint Strategic Needs Assessment for Health and Well-being
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) identifies the 'big picture' in terms of the health, care and well-being needs of the local population and the inequalities that exist. In doing so it focuses on improvements in outcomes which could be made.
The Southampton Children and Young People's Trust adopted a locality model of working in May 2010. There are now two multi-agency teams, one working in the east and the other in the west of the city. The locality performance toolkit provides management information about a wide range of needs, service activity levels and outcomes.
